Journal Transformatif (Islamic Studies) is an Islamic studies journal published twice a year by the IAIN Palangka Raya Postgraduate since 2017. This journal focuses on publishing research articles in the field of Islamic studies. All submitted articles must go through a double-blind review process. The Transformatif Journal (Islamic Studies) received accreditation from the Director General of Strengthening Research and Development, Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia on January 13, 2020, and is indexed by Sinta 4. Two years later the management carried out reaccreditation and received a permanent accreditation rating of Sinta 4 on 11 May 2023.
Journal Transformatif (Islamic Studies) aims to promote scientific publications on Islamic Studies and Local Wisdom in South Asia. This journal covers textual, historical, and empirical aspects of the classical/medieval, modern, and contemporary periods of the Islamic World and South Asia. The Transformatif Journal (Islamic Studies) accepts research articles that focus on six main topics, namely (1) Islamic Education, (2) Islamic Law, (3) Islamic Economics, (4) Islamic Theology (Kalam) (5) Islamic Philosophy (6 ) Islamic mysticism. The journal encourages the use of a multi-disciplinary approach in submitted articles.
Journal Transformatif (Islamic Studies) has also been a member of Crossref since 2017. Therefore, all articles published by the Journal Transformatif (Islamic Studies) will have a unique Digital Object Identifier (DOI) number.
Journal Transformatif (Islamic Studies) is a national journal that goes through a peer-review process and is available in print and online versions. This journal also follows the ethical standards that apply in publishing articles.
Scholars Researchers and Students from any country and region who are interested in the study of Islam and its manifestations throughout the history and geography of Muslims in the Islamic World and South Asia can submit their articles to Ju Jurnal Transformatif (Islamic Studies) and use this journal as an open access resource.
