Author Guidelines

AUTHOR GUIDELINES

1. Articles must be authentic, scientific, and based on the empirical research, library research, or conceptual ideas. The content of articles has not been previously published elsewhere, in any journals/books.
2. Articles must be in *.doc or *.rtf., and sent to the journal system via online submission.
3. The title should reflect the specific focus of research, max. 15 words, center, bold, single space, with the bookman old style font 14-pt.
4. All submissions must include abstract (150-250 words) in English and Indonesian with the bookman old style font 12-pt and single space. Keyword consists of 3-5 words or phrases.
5. Full name of the authors cannot be abbreviated and should be typed without academic title(s). It should be typed along with his/her/their institution, city, and country, complete email address, and phone number. It is presented below the article title with the bookman old style font 10-pt.
6. Articles must be typed in one-half space on A4-sized paper, double column, with the bookman old style font 12-pt, 2 cm margins, and 18-25 pages in length. If the article contains Arabic, it should be typed using Traditional Arabic font style with 14 font size.
7. Articles must be presented in the following organization: Introduction, Method, Results and Discussion, Conclusion, and References.
8. The introduction consists of research background, research problems, research objectives, literature review, and related researches.
9. Method used should be complemented by cited sources. It consists of research design, research procedures, data collection technique, operational definitions of research variables, and data analysis method.
10. Results and discussion are in the same section and contain research implication. The results present the research findings and can be complemented by tables/charts/figures. The discussion presents the result of data processing and interpretation. It also links them to the relevant references.
11. Conclusion of the research findings can lead the readers to understand the important things obtained in the research and should be presented clearly and briefly.
12. The tables are presented with single space, bookman old style font 10-pt, and without left and right border. The titles of the tables should be typed on the top of the tables, while the titles of the charts/figures should be typed below the charts/figures. The titles use single space, center justification, and bookman old style font 9-pt. The tables, charts, and figures should be presented in numerical order.
13. Mathematical formula should be typed using Microsoft equation or other similar application and listed in numerical order.
14. Every sources cited in the body of the article should appear in the references (In-Text).
15. References used should be from those published in the last 10 years and derived from books and scientific journals. In addition, the references should be presented alphabetically at the last section of article. Furthermore, the references should be typed based on Harvard Referencing Standard System.

4. Co-Authorship

If the article was jointly prepared by more than one author, any authors submitting the manuscript warrants that he/she has been authorized by all co-authors to be agreed on this copyright and license notice (agreement) on their behalf, and agrees to inform his/her co-authors of the terms of this policy. Al-Mudarris : Jurnal Ilmiah Pendidikan Islam will not be held liable for anything that may arise due to the author(s) internal dispute. Al-Mudarris : Jurnal Ilmiah Pendidikan Islam will only communicate with the corresponding author.

5. Miscellaneous

Al-Mudarris : Jurnal Ilmiah Pendidikan Islam will publish the article (or have it published) in the journal if the article’s editorial process is successfully completed. Al-Mudarris : Jurnal Ilmiah Pendidikan Islam editors may modify the article to a style of punctuation, spelling, capitalization, referencing and usage that deems appropriate. The author acknowledges that the article may be published so that it will be publicly accessible and such access will be free of charge for the readers as mentioned in point 3.
