Nalar: Jurnal Peradaban dan Pemikiran Islam is a peer-reviewed open-access journal published by Faculty Ushuluddin, Adab, and Dakwah, Institut Agama Islam Negeri Palangkaraya in collaboration with Asosiasi Ilmu Hadis Indonesia (ASILHA). This journal is concerned with publishing original (library or field) research articles in the field of Islamic studies. Nalar:Jurnal Peradaban dan Pemikiran Islam has been accredited grade 3 (Sinta 3) by The Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education, Republic of Indonesia as an academic journal. All submitted papers are subject to a double-blind review process.
Nalar: Jurnal Peradaban dan Pemikiran Islam aims to promote scientific publications on Living Islam explicitly related to how Islam is consumed, utilized, understood, and contributes towards various realities of Muslim socio-cultural life. Articles published in this journal are only original research results based on library research or empirical research in the field of Islamic studies mainly on, but not limited to, ten main topics: (1) Qur'an and hadith; (2) Islamic law; (3) Islamic theology; (4) Islamic history; (5) Islamic culture; (6) Islamic mysticism (Tasawwuf); (7) Islamic education; (8) Islamic communication and proselytization (Da'wah); (9) Islamic economics; and (10) Islamic politics. It encourages articles that employ a multidisciplinary approach to these topics. Scholars from any country and region concerned with Islam can submit their articles to Nalar: Jurnal Peradaban dan Pemikiran Islam.

Author who submits a manuscript to the editors of Nalar: Jurnal Peradaban dan Pemikiran Islam should comply with the author's guidelines. If the submitted manuscript does not comply with the guidelines or uses a different format, it will be rejected by the editorial team before being reviewed. The Editorial Team will only accept a manuscript that meets the specified formatting requirements.
