Dakwah bil Qalam: Pesan Keislaman dalam Rubrik Opini Republika Edisi Ramadan tahun 2018

Abstract

Print media not only has an informative function, but at a certain level also has a function for educating and preaching media. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the Islamic message in the opinion rubric of the Ramadhan edition of Republika 2018. This paper is a quantitative descriptive type with content analysis method. Data obtained by documentation and observation techniques. The data is then categorized into the major themes of the Ramadhan edition: humans, fasting, and the Qur’an, Islam and terrorism, four worship management, Islam, and technology. Based on the analysis of the data that can be obtained, the articles in the daily opinion rubric of Republika edition of Ramadhan 1439 H/2018 M have a percentage, namely in the Ramadhan category: humans, fasting, and the Qur’an with a percentage of 73.68%, the Islamic category and the result category is 10.53%, worship management is 10.53%, and Islam and technology is 5.26%. It can be seen that the Islamic message with the category of Ramadan: humans, fasting, and the Qur’an are the most dominant. From these articles, it can remind Republika readers to rejoice in welcoming the holy month of Ramadhan by fasting in earnest in order to hope for the pleasure of Allah Swt
